Loved that it felt like walking into a time capsule. The whole atmosphere of the hotel just encapsulates the feeling I have always loved about Gatlinburg. The bathrooms are updated and nice. The bed was okay not the most comfortable hotel bed but not the worst. The breakfast seemed nice we didn’t eat any but we were on 2nd floor and could smell it and it smelled amazing. The location is unbeatable, right smack in the middle of the strip and you get to avoid all the parking fees. Lovely places to sit inside and out they had a small fire outside that I found useful while waiting for the cold rain to let up. The staff were so sweet and they gave us a little pastry as a parting gift when checking out. It was delicious as well!

Absolutely loved the history and location of the Inn! I loved that someone was always at the front desk with a smile or a good attitude. I enjoyed the atmosphere and hospitality as well as the living area. People were playing card games, enjoying the fireplace, the complementary hot chocolate and cookies and I truly appreciate the effort and dedication it takes to make this place so warm and inviting. Breakfast was fantastic and you were served! Not table service, but they served it or you could opt for some cereal. Anyway, we ate breakfast near a fire and amidst all the Christmas decor. It was beautiful. It embodied everything I wanted from our stay. I love everything about this place and hope to return!

Breakfast was what we expected for a hotel breakfast. It provided all we needed. It was convenient to be able to eat on site. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds, especially the pillows, were extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed the spacious parlor-like sitting rooms and lobby, and we had access to refreshments every night. Very nice for visiting, playing board games. The location was exactly where we needed to be. Rooms were a little dated but after all it is advertised as historic and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Bathrooms appear to have been recently renovated, very nice. Will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent, biscuits gravy eggs bacon waffles orange juice chocolate milk coffee and much more. Got the "cracker barrel" country porch look with rocking chairs and fireplace. Very charming unique place to stay. Location is right on the main street between Puckers and Sugarlands, which is definitely a plus. Walking distance to everything.

Absolutely everything!!!! Perfect location, exceptional breakfast, both rooms we had were perfect, everyone at the Inn was kind, helpful and willing to take the time to explain anything we asked about. We are in our 70s and have traveled all over the world and we would rank our stay with you right up at the top for an overall perfect place to stay!!!
